  Author, Kate Kading

Near a tiny town in Northern Saskatchewan, it fell to Sergeant Walter Regitnig and his canine partner Bruce to track a killer. He'd hunted men before, but never one who'd murdered his best friend.

Kate Kading is a 20+ year journalist and RCMP wife who spent several years researching this case to write On Scene. Through interviews with retired RCMP officers and family members of the fallen officers, she has brought to light one of the
longest manhunts in Canadian history...that nobody really knew about. Kate resides in Rosthern with her husband, their two boys, and a corgi who never seems to get enough attention.
